New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (NJDOL) Summer internships The project-based work experience opportunities for interns are available within NJDOL’s respective divisions and provide interns with meaningful assignments aimed to prepare them for a productive career. Interns will conduct research, compile information, develop action plans, report findings, and create an end-product. To promote a learning environment and foster a networking culture, supervisors will be assigned to assist, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to interns throughout the program. Szaferman Lakind Production Room Associate Job The primary responsibility for this position will be preparing documents for scanning (removing staples, bindings, and clips in an organized and thorough fashion) scanning documents and entering specific data into a computer and some lifting of boxes. A few of the skills required will be attention to details, good work ethic, computer knowledge, professional conduct, ability to bend and lift boxes. You will be responsible for performing tasks involving the use of document scanners, and indexing software and need to follow procedures to perform daily operations of document imaging, processing, and indexing of client records. We have hundreds of boxes filled with paperwork that need to be scanned into our system. We are looking for 3-4 part time workers who could be available for 10-15 hours a week Mon-Friday between 9am-5:30pm. Contact Curtis D. NJ Courts Pretrial Services Intern The Judiciary is seeking individuals with strong communication and organizational skills for a paid internship opportunity. The intern will perform a variety of clerical, administrative, supportive tasks, and customer service duties in connection with the Pretrial Services Unit in the Criminal Division. The intern will gain a broad insight and knowledge of the court system, specificallyPretrial Services.
